-With 45 plays of 20-or-more yards, the #Birds offense ranks 1st in the NFL and leads the closest team (Denver) by 5 plays
-In Weeks 5-8, the Eagles defense held its opponents to 21 points or less in each of the team’s four games. Only Kansas City has also done so in their past four contests.
-Philadelphia punter Donnie Jones currently holds the best single-season net punting average (39.4) in Eagles history and his 45.3 gross average ranks third.
Raiders News And Notes

-QB Terrelle Pryor is now leading the league in rushing yards per carry by almost a full two yards. Pryor’s 7.4 yards per carry is also on pace to be the sixthbest single-season total in NFL history.

                        Keys To Eagles Victory

-QB Nick Foles: The Raiders this season have been dominant against the run. And if RB Lesean McCoy can’t get any type of production on the ground, the Eagles offense will have to rely on Foles to make enough plays to win this football game. McCoy the last two weeks has only managed 106 yards on the ground TOTAL! But there is still question marks on how healthy Foles is after missing last week’s game against the Giants with a concussion but the Eagles are going to need to big game from him if they want to win.

-Get in a Rhythm Offensively: One thing the Eagles have struggled with this season has been getting off to a quick start out of the game and getting in some type of rhythm offensively early.

-Contain QB Terrelle Pryor: The 3rd year quarterback has finally been given a chance to showcase his talents and right now he has been the talk of the town in Oakland. Pryor has completed 63.1% of his passes for 1,149yds and 5 TDs. But he also a threat on the ground and take it to the house at any moment in time rushing for 391yds and 1 TD while picking up 7.4 yards an attempt. The Steelers got to see first hand what this kid can do taking it 93yds to paydirt. But despite his talent he has had issues taking care of the football throwing for 5 interceptions and fumbling it 3 times but luckily hasn’t lost any. Eagles have to keep someone on Pryor and spy him so he doesn’t break free and get some pressure on him and rattle the young kid early hoping to force him to make mistakes with the football.

-Defensive Progressions: This has been an Eagles defense that has come a long way since the beginning of the season. This was a defense that we felt wouldn’t be able to keep this team in football games and would struggle to stop opposing offenses. Well right now they are proving us wrong! They have allowed 21 or less points in the last 4 games and haven’t allowed a 100 yard rusher this season. They are playing competitive football and are doing their part to win games but the offense has let them down. We need continue to see this unit to play stout defense hoping that the offense gets back on track soon. They have a tough challenge going up against the running combination of Pryor and RB Darren McFadden. The Eagles have to contain the running game and force Pryor to try and beat them with his arm.

-Score More Points!: I know this is an obvious key but this is something we haven’t seen from the Eagles the past few weeks. This was suppose to be a high-octane Eagles offense that teams were going to have trouble sleeping on how to stop them. So far teams have been doing a decent job. Chip Kelly needs to back to his old ways and wear down an opposing defense and control the tempo in the football game.

Prediction: Eagles 24-17 The Eagles have recorded all their wins on the road and the Raiders have won all their games at home(3-1 record) and these are two potent rushing defenses. With that said this game is going to rely on the shoulder of both quarterback’s play. QB Nick Foles is coming off injury and who knows where he is at with his recovery. And Pryor has been up and down. This is really a coin flip in my opinion but I can’t see Chip Kelly allowing his team to lose three consecutive games. He will get things in order and we will see a high flying Eagles offense that just has too much fire power with RB Lesean McCoy, WR Desean Jackson and are going to be more consistent moving the football and finally find ways to get into the endzone.
